TUNISIA - FEBRUARY 2011
I arrived in Tunisia early into 2011 knowing nothing of revolution, dreaming only of evocative and historical placenames such as Carthage, Djerba and the expansive Sahara. By the end of January the ‘Jasmine Revolution’ itself was receding into history. A dictator ousted, life was slowly reassuming its natural rythyms. These photos represent the calm after that storm.
